RIDING EVENTS 2010

On an Own a Pony Morning you get the chance to catch your pony, make his breakfast and feed him, groom, tack up and have a riding lesson followed by an off road hack.

You pick the ponies feet out so that they don't get bruised soles from stones wedged in their feet and so that any 'dirt' doesn't cause thrush or smelly feet!

August 2010


10 - 13 August - Experienced Rider Per Day £70 or for the Week £ 190 Tuesday - stable management morning followed by an hours riding lesson in the afternoon. Wednesday - Show Jumping in the morning followed by clear round jumping competition in the afternoon. Thursday, Cross Country at Grange Farm followed by a video of the day. Friday All Day Ride round Whichford. 10.30 groom and tack up 11 - 3.30 ride with picnic lunch.


17 - 20 August - Novice Rider Week £ 170.00 Four mornings of looking after your pony and riding.

17 - 20 August - Adult Rider Week £ 180.00 Four afternoons grooming, tacking up, horse care with a lesson on three afternoons and a long hack on Friday.


24 - 27 August - Intermediate Rider Week - £ 180.00 Tuesday Stable Management morning with a riding lesson and hack in the afternoon. Wednesday - Grooming, tacking up lunging your horse in the morning. Lesson over poles in the afternoon. Thursday - Tacking up and lesson followed by a Handy Pony Competition in the afternoon. Friday - Best Turned Out pony and rider am, Gymkhana in the afternoon.

September

Cross Country morning - to be arranged.

Adult Day Ride - date to be arranged.

October

Wednesday 6th October - Day Ride £ 70 arrive at Turpins Lodge at 10.30 to groom and tack up your horse. Leaving at 11 we will ride to Whichford via Whichford Woods and stop and have a picnic lunch. We will ride home via Traitors Ford and Sibford arriving back at 3.30.

Tuesday 26th October 2010 - Own a Pony Morning £ 50.00 Come for a mornings pony care and a riding lesson.

Wednesday 27th October - Own a Pony Morning £ 50.00 Feeding, Grooming, tacking up and a lesson.

31st October - Clock go back!

November 2010

Sunday 14th November - Remembrance Sunday - Poppy Day.

December 2010

Tuesday 21st December - Own a Pony Morning £50.00

Wednesday 22nd December - Own a Pony Morning £50.00

24, 25, 26, 27 December 2010 Closed.

28, 29, 30 December 2010 Open as normal.
